Germania Mint has created a series inspired by the power of femininity to highlight the extraordinary"Mothers of Nations." A feminine personification of Germania leads the series, accompanied by other countries' personifications.

The shield

From the Bronze Age to the Middle Ages, shields served as defensive weapons used by horse and foot formations. Symbolizing truth, faithfulness, and trust, it is depicted on images of warriors.

The Crown and Coat of Arms

The crown in heraldry is a symbol of authority, nobility, and chivalry. These symbols correspond directly to values represented by Germania, Britannia, Columbia, Italia, Austria, and Polonia. The coat of arms depicted on each coin’s reverse is an imaginary creation and does not represent any noble family or kingdom because Germania is a historical land and has never been an official country.

The Germania Mint's Bicephalous Eagle, a Roman mythology symbol associated with Janus, the god of origins, guardian of doors, gates, passages, and bridges appears on the top left corner of the crest.. The heads depicted facing the opposite direction symbolize the past and the future. A check pattern on the upper right corner represents wisdom and prudence. The three flowers on the gold ribbon on the bottom left corner of the shield represent unity, integrity, and freedom.The bottom right corner of the crest shows a wild boar, a symbol of power and mightiness in the Roman Empire.

1. Personification of Britannia and Germania

Two historical lands, Germania and Britannia are personified on the first coin of the Allegories series. Beauty and thoughtfulness are portrayed in the presentation of Lady Britannia. Symbolizing her land's former maritime power, she is wearing a Roman helmet and surrendered by plumes, a shield, and a trident on the new coin.

On the reverse, oak leaves symbolize loyalty, stability, and national unity. Historically, only people with enormous power could wear it - whether it was spirit, muscle, or magic.

2. Personification of Columbia and Germania

The second release of the Allegories series - Columbia and Germania. The graceful symbols of the United States and Germania walk together towards the future, representing the common European past and tradition.

3. Personification of Italia and Germania

The third release of the Allegories series – Italia & Germania. Italia is a young woman with long, curly hair and a pleated dress that highlights her femininity. The two beautiful women are standing close to each other with Germania's hand on Italia's shoulder, symbolizing friendship between cultures.

4. Personification of Austria and Germania

The fourth coin from Germania Mint's Allegories series is the personifications of Austria and Germania, depicted as young and beautiful women. The spear held by Lady Austria symbolizes the axis of the world, power, dignity, and honor. A laurel wreath decorates Austria's head, a symbol with multiple positive connotations. Lady Germania holds Reichsschwert-the imperial sword, her inherent attribute.

5. Personification of Poland and Germania

The fifth coin in Germania’s Allegories series features the personifications of Poland and Germania. Polonia is holding a large shield depicting an eagle, a symbol of victory and strength, and her head is adorned with a crown, a symbol of kings.
