Golden State Mint Morgan Silver Rounds give contemporary silver bullion the appearance of the historic Morgan Silver Dollar. The original Morgan Dollar was minted from 1878 to 1904 and designed by George T. Morgan, whose Lady Liberty portrait remains one of the most recognized designs in American coinage.
Each round contains 1 troy ounce of .999 fine silver. The obverse recreates Morgan's left-facing Liberty with LIBERTY on her headband, E PLURIBUS UNUM above and a ring of six-pointed stars below. The reverse shows an eagle with outstretched wings beneath the motto IN GOD WE TRUST, with the Golden State Mint hallmark at the bottom.
