The coin is rectangular (vertical orientation), in the shape of a card. As a legal tender offering of Niue, the obverse displays the Ian Rank-Broadly effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II within an inset. Inscriptions include "ELIZABETH II . NIUE . TWO DOLLARS . 2021." An attractive pattern encircles the rim, as it normally would on a deck of cards.
