What does 'Silver Note' mean?

Pressburg Mint's hybrid design concept is called Silver Note; it combines the banknote's design language and the format of a coin and bar. The design on each bar is created by a combination of traditional minting and laser engraving, which also provides very fine detail and patterning, more commonly found in the printing of currency than in normal bullion bar production.

Is this part of an annual series?

Yes. Since 2022, Pressburg Mint has been publishing a new design of Silver Note in 100 gram, 10 oz and 1 kilo each year. This 2023 release came with a new design after the original 2022 release that featured Queen Elizabeth II effigy.
