We get asked a lot when it comes to state-flag bars: Will anyone buy this back?
Our response is simple: we only carry the products that we would want to purchase for ourselves, and this Alabama State Flag bar is one of those. Colored silver bars fall somewhere between bullion and collectible and are tied to the spot price of the underlying troy ounce, as well as collector demand for the design. Our buy-back service is competitively priced, and our process is simple; you never get locked into a one-way transaction. This is the BOLD Precious Metals standard as applied to all of our products.
This is a note from our founder. Coins and bars were part of my grandfather's collection, and many of those coins and bars had a geographic theme in addition to their metal content. This is what makes me want to fill my retail shop with products such as Alabama State Flag bars.
There are two types of buyers that state designs appeal to: stackers who seek the silver ounce at a reasonable price, and collectors who seek the design due to its personal meaning to them. These are both good reasons. My advice to any new buyer: realize the value being added to the spot price, and be certain that the design is had by collectors, and not just novelty packaging.
BOLD Precious Metals is an authorized dealer of Scottsdale Mint. Like any minted colored collectible, this 1 oz Alabama State Flag bar is minted at a premium over the silver spot price.
