This 2015 10 oz .999 fine silver Year of the Goat minted silver bar features a remarkably rich design commemorating the 2015 Chinese Lunar Year. The obverse displays the strong, resolute, full-body image of a horned goat. Standing upon the mountain range's edge, its front hooves are planted upon the inscribed '2015' date. Depth of field is achieved as the mountain range falls both behind, and stretches on before the goat. The inscriptions include '2015 Year of the Goat', its Chinese symbol, the weight and purity fill the lower third of the bar. The reverse is filled with a repeating wavy-line pattern.
All bars are hand inspected for quality and consistency prior to packaging. NTR Metals minted bars are RF heat sealed in a polyvinyl chloride (PVC) casing that protects the finish from physical damage and oxidation. This unique packaging allows bars to be sold individually or in sheets of ten. An excellent addition for the silver bullion investor and collector alike.
Silver bullion bars have long been a sound choice for precious metals investors. There are primarily two advantages recognized by those investing in bullion bars. Due to lower production costs, they generally have a lower premium as compared to the same troy oz of silver and gold coins. This, of course, results in less expensive upfront investment costs. Perhaps equally important to the precious metals investment stacker is the bar's relative ease of stacking for storage. The stacks generally take less room to store than the same weight of bullion coins.
