Hogwarts Crest

As a legal tender offering by Niue, the obverse displays the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II in the center. Inscriptions encircling the Queen's effigy include, "ELIZABETH II . NIUE . TWO DOLLARS . 2021." At the top is displayed the 1 oz weight and 999 fineness. At the bottom are the licensed trademarks, "HARRY POTTER © & TM WBEL (s21)."

The reverse features an ornately engraved crest-shaped coin displaying the four houses of Hogwarts and their mascots and colors. Included are Gryffindor represented by the Lion against the red; Slytherin represented by the Snake against the green; Ravenclaw represented by the Raven against the blue; and Hufflepuff represented by the Badger against the yellow.

A scrolled ribbon at the bottom displays the Hogwarts motto "Draco dormiens nunquam titillandus" which translates to 'Never tickle a sleeping dragon."
