From the mint: "This remarkable 2022 Silver Tuvalu Year of the Tiger Quadrant 4-Coin Proof features a scene celebrating the Year of the Tiger. This scene design consists of four individual coins, each depicting a quadrant of the complete design when fitted together. Each of the coins could stand alone, as each of the scenes depicted is quite attractive on its own. However, the completed scene is highly pleasing. Each incorporating The Perth Mint's P mintmark, the four coin designs in this set depict tigers in their natural habitat. Together they form a single composition comprising an appealing mix of superbly coloured and struck elements."

As a legal tender offering of Tuvalu, the obverse of each of the four coins displays the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Inscriptions include, "2022 . Queen Elizabeth II . 1 oz 9999 Ag . TUVALU . 1 DOLLAR." The reverse of each coin features a tiger in a jungle. The first tiger is walking on a tree branch, the second is displaying its teeth to ward off any animal that might hurt it, the third tiger is resting peacefully, and the fourth tiger is enjoying a nice waterfall.
