Strikely crafted by one of the world's most renowned and internationally recognised precious metals refiners, PAMP Suisse, the 2.5 Gram PAMP Rosa Gold Bar is an elegant investment grade gold bar comprising 2.5 grams of .9999 fine gold. The reverse features the famous Rosa design, with a fully opened rose atop its stem, supported with two unopened roses in bud among fine, artistic leaves, in PAMP's hallmark artistic detail.
Packaged in a tamper-evident assay card, with PAMP's authentication technology for precious metals, this bar is a popular investment product and a popular gift for the beautiful and memorable symbolism it conveys.
PAMP Suisse (formerly Produits Artistiques Métaux Précieux) was established in 1977 in the Ticino Canton of Switzerland with its refinery in the nearby town of Castel San Pietro on the border with Italy. It started as a small-scale minting business for the Swiss jewellery and watch manufacturing industry, and soon expanded into one of the world's most renowned and largest precious metals refiners. PAMP SA joined with its long time trading partner MKS (Switzerland) SA in November 2021, bringing together decades of accumulated know-how and global trading experience in a single, internationally recognised group, with PAMP SA becoming part of the newly formed MKS PAMP SA trading company.
PAMP is a member of the London Bullion Market Association (LBMA), one of just a few refineries in the world to be recognized as an official LBMA referee for gold and silver, and is also recognized by the Swiss National Bank, COMEX and other major exchanges. PAMP is also a source of precious metals for some of the world's highest mints, such as the US mint, Royal Canadian mint, and the British Royal mint, which also reflect the trust given to its refining standards.
A unique pattern of microscopic marks, like a fingerprint made during minting, is created on each PAMP bar with the Veriscan technology. The pattern is scanned and stored in PAMP's secure database during the bar's production, so that the bar's authenticity can be later verified by being re-scanned against the database. This technology offers buyers and dealers another layer of highly reliable authentication, in addition to the bar's serial number and assay card.
One of PAMP's most renowned artistic bar designs, next only to the famous Lady Fortuna, is the Rosa motif. The rose design consists of a big rose on a tall stem, with a few smaller budding roses nestled among the leaves, symbolizing the visual beauty of the rose, as well as the universal symbolism that roses have had for centuries: love, purity, devotion, and remembrance.
For centuries, roses have been a symbol and cultural icon of love and commitment, and continue to be one of the most recognized symbols in the world today. The rose's significance in human life, from its colorful hues to its symbolism, was inextricably tied to its significance, and the rose's status as a global symbol made it a natural and enduring subject for PAMP's minted bar artistry.
The Rosa design belongs to a family of artistic minted bars made by PAMP Suisse. The most popular sibling of the lady fortuna is the cornucopia bar, which is a wreath with a Roman goddess Fortuna in left-profile relief pouring wealth into the wreath, one of the most popular bullion bar designs worldwide. Apart from the artistic and seasonal designs PAMP offers a wide range of themed designs, including a PAMP Lunar Collection inspired by the Chinese zodiac.
