The Eastern Caribbean EC8 Island Series

The obverse is common to all eight EC8 2018 releases. The inset features the Raphael Maklouf effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Distinctive laurels of evergreen shrubs frame the portrait on either side, nearly filling the center inset. A narrow band encircles the rim, which includes the inscriptions, "EASTERN CARIBBEAN CENTRAL BANK" at the top, and "1 OZ .999 Silver . QUEEN ELIZABETH II . TWO DOLLARS" at the bottom rim.

The reverse depicts a group of sailboats enjoying a leisurely sail in the Caribbean Sea, with the dominant sailboat's sails colored white and the deck and hull colored a dark brown and an off-color white, respectively. A rough-looking texture beneath the boats gives a spectacular visual of the sea beneath them. The textured sky gives a feeling of warmth and freedom. A stylized border encircles the rim. Inscriptions include "ANGUILLA" in large type at the top and "2021" at the bottom. The overall design is certain to be well received!
