The $5 Indian Head Half Eagle Gold Coin

The $5 Indian Head Half Eagle Gold Coin was minted by the US Mint in the period of 1908 to 1916 and one year in 1929. After the introduction of the Indian Head Eagle coin designed by Augustus Saint Gaudens, the government turned their attention towards the coin’s fractional counterparts such as the half eagle and quarter eagle.
