The third issue in the award-winning series in the Scottsdale Mint, The Teacher, is the celebration of the Sermon on the Mount, the most powerful of all moral doctrines in all human history. The obverse has the official Coat of Arms of Samoa. This elaborate crest displays a shield with the constellation of Southern Cross, coconut palm and a cross. The national motto, Fa'avae i Le Atua Samoa (God be the Foundation of Samoa), is found below and supports the religious nature of the coin in its status as sovereign.
